Prepare to lose an hour of your life.

Good morning;

This morning I was looking for event information on our town's website about times for the Veteran's day ceremony. As you can see, I found it on the first page, it's 10:30am. Thank you all veterans from all services, your hard work and sacrifice make what we do possible!

However, also on the first page is a link to the New Milford

Below is a screen shot of our little slice of the world:

This little feature of our town's website is interesting and useful. And probably it is a good use of our tax dollars, considering the information it gives, and the time, fuel, and manpower it saves.

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, said the fox.

This fox was so healthy it looks as if he may have been dining on most of the bunnies in the hood. Spotted this morning roaming on Mountain View Drive.

Wile E. Coyote

click to enlarge

Our neighborhood was visited today by the famous, albeit shaggy, Wile E. Coyote. He spent a good deal of time sitting in Dr. Schwarzchild's side lawn before shuffling along to the Mack's. The children and I are always excited to see the 'hood teaming with wildlife. It wasn't long ago that we had our nightly visitor, Bob...as in Bob Cat. Although I was never able to get a great photograph of him, check out this picture of a very similar bobcat, as well as this link to some bobcat "screams." I think ours sounds a lot like "Bobcat Sound 2" or number 11.

Welcome to November

Perhaps we can find alternative ways to make the travel ways work for us. Here is one possibility, although we may have trouble with the hills.
